The Church of St. Nicholas Orphanos

As one leaves behind the din of the modern city and begins the ascent of apostolou Pavlou Street in the direction of the Old Town, shortly after passing the Turkish Consulate one can already descty the beautiful cypresses which grace the spacious courtyard of the Church of St. Nicholas Orphanos.
