Painting of Ancient Pskov XIII – XVIe

This album is the first attempt to collect in a separate edition the most characteristic Pskov icons in a certain stylistic sequence. The authors did not set out to cover all aspects related to the culture and history of ancient Pskov in such a short article. They limited themselves to an analysis of Pskov painting, trying to determine the general meaning of the evolution of Pskov art from the 12th to the 16th century.
