The life and miracles of St. Ivo

Mystery has always surrounded St. Ivo, from whom the Huntingdonshire town of St. Ives takes its name. What was a Persian bishop doing in Dark Age England in the first place? How did his body come to be rediscovered 400 years after his death? How genuine were the miracles worked by his relics? To answer these questions, Sue Edgington has gone back to the chronicles of the Middle Ages, written by monks who actually witnessed St. Ivo’s miracles.
